Franky wanted to be a playboy. Why?

"Because," he said with an accent, "playboys are rich. They own big cruise ships and live in it. They're always surrounded by girls. They always have fun. They're handsome, and they live comfortable lives."

I giggled. This boy has a twisted logic, I thought. But being polite, I didn't say anything. Maybe, I thought, he said that to make fun of himself. Or maybe he only wanted to be like James Bond. I don't know.

We were in the 3rd grade elementary school then. I wonder where and how Franky is now. Each time I see cruise ships, I wonder whether they're his.
